Leveraging prize competitions for solving grand challenges

Join us in celebrating 62 years of human spaceflight. In this webinar, we discuss how incentive prizes have catalysed innovation and sub-sectors in the aerospace industry throughout history. It has also proven to be an effective mechanism for solving important, often critical global challenges on Earth such as climate change. We will end with a short briefing on the up coming Space for Planet Earth Challenge 2023 open to teams in New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific Islands including the Philippines.
