Lesbian Film Club Sydney presents: Hadestown

Join us on Thursday October 15 for a private screening of Hadestown: The Musical.

The tragic love of Orpheus and Eurydice is intertwined with the complex relationship of Hades and Persephone. Eurydice, struggling with poverty, is lured to the industrial underworld of Hadestown by Hades, while Orpheus, a struggling musician, ventures down below to bring her back. This proshot of the musical is filmed live at the Lyric Theatre, London, featuring the core five original Broadway cast members.

5:30pm - Meet at The Bank in Newtown for mingling and refreshments

6:10pm - Move across to Dendy Newtown

6:30pm - Film begins

10:00pm - Film concludes
