Interested in knowing how to create a more inclusive environment for LGBTIQA+ young people?
Youth Pride Network is hosting a FREE online training session for WA based youth workers wanting to better support LGBTIQA+ people they work with.
What will the session include?
Explore foundational knowledge of sexual orientation, gender identity, and intersex identities.
Understand the rights and needs of LGBTIQA+ youth in various service settings.
Identify common barriers LGBTIQA+ young people face in accessing safe and supportive services.
Respond to discrimination and exclusion with confidence and care.
Use inclusive language and practices that affirm diverse identities.
Build strong support networks within and beyond youth services.
Foster youth leadership and empowerment within the LGBTIQA+ community.

We are a peer-led organisation working to ensure all LGBTIQA+ young people are included, accepted and celebrated by their communities.
