This LGBTQ Domestic Violence Awareness Day, join us in reflecting on our community's role for in ensuring that LGBTQIA+ survivors of domestic and family violence feel #SeenAndBelieved. This event will start at 4:15pm with speeches from Craig Franklin. UQ Ally Network Executive Member, and Katsu Shike from the LGBTQ Domestic Violence Awareness Foundation, followed by popcorn and a viewing of cult comedy classic, The Birdcage. 

The Birdcage follows the story of a gay cabaret owner and a drag queen who agree to put up a false straight front so that their son can introduce them to his fiancée's conservative parents.
