Speed dating for LGBTQ+ singles aged 25–45, in Newtown on Tuesday 8 December, 7–9pm.

How it runs: one open room, with no women's or men's sides. You get a seat letter when you arrive. Half the room stays seated and half moves at each bell, so you have twelve six-minute conversations. After that the reserved area stays ours for a mingle, so you can meet the rest of the room.

On your card, tick "date" or "friend" next to anyone you'd like to see again. When a tick is mutual, you both get an email at 9am the next morning with each other's first name and email address. Phone numbers are never shared.

Who it's for: lesbian, gay, bi, trans, non-binary, queer and questioning singles aged 25–45. Coming on your own is normal; the evening is built for it. Your host keeps time, makes introductions and makes sure nobody is left on their own.

Tickets: Early bird $45 (limited), Standard $55, Last seats $65, plus booking fee. Cancel any time before the evening for a full refund.
