Rainbow Affinity delivers Affirmative practice training to support individual practitioners and organisations provide affirming and culturally safer services for LGBTIQ+ folk.

The Affirmative Practice Training has been developed with an overarching aim to strengthen the capacity and confidence of staff and services who are working to develop and maintain individual practices and organisational cultures that are affirming and safer for all LGBTIQ+ folk to access support.

The workshop held at Logan Loud and Proud will be an opportunity for local and non local folk to:

-gain a better understanding of the LGBTIQA+ idenities and terminologies

-understand the importance of pronouns

-create safer and inclusive environments

-using safer and inclusive language

-understand the importance of allyship

This workshop is funded by the Investing in Queensland Women Fund.
