Come along to the LGN’s September Showcase Webinar to hear three road safety case studies from local government practitioners

  1. Hastings District Council in New Zealand will be presenting the Heretaunga Arakura programme. The programme focused on improving safety and accessibility around a number of schools in Hastings District. Hear about the process, community involvement, delivery and results.
  2. Orange City and Cabonne Shire Councils in New South Wales will be presenting ‘Power Nap – A fatigue Intervention strategy, saving lives on local roads’. Hear about the project's development, implementation and results.
  3. Shire of Manjimup in Western Australia will be presenting their Road Traffic Safety Policy and the road safety outcomes achieved.

This webinar is a great opportunity to hear about the vast but important road safety work being undertaken by councils across Australia.
