Maybe the best way to describe an Immersion is visualising yourself learning a new language, living for a period of time in a new country. It would be an immersive experience, which means intense, deep and sometimes, discombobulating...😜

During the pandemic, your lead facilitators, Fernando and Carol, re-designed their 2-day in-person workshop into 4 dynamic and interactive online sessions, each lasting 3,5 hours, via Zoom. This format allows a deep dive into the world of Liberating Structures in a consistent learning experience. The virtual interaction becomes also a stepping stone to enhancing your in-person facilitation skills.

Throughout these 4 weeks, you will experience a multitude of Liberating Structures, unlocking their potential for various scenarios and contexts. Together, we'll unravel the endless combinations and applications of LS, equipping you with versatile tools to boost your practice in the field.

Meet your facilitators

Carolina Ribeiro de Almeida and Fernando Murray Loureiro have been infusing Liberating Structures into their facilitation practice since 2015. They have hosted more than 60 immersion programs to date!

In 2016, they coordinated the translation of Liberating Structures into Portuguese and since 2018 started offering Liberating Structures Immersions in Canada, USA, Brazil and Portugal bringing more than 2,000 Practitioners into this global Community.

In regular contact with authors Keith McCandless and Henri Lipmanowicz, Carolina and Fernando are currently coordinating the publishing of the book 'The Surprising Power of Liberating Structures' in Portuguese, and an online Self-Guide Course to help spread the practice.

Both live in Nelson, a ski-town nestled in the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia, Canada, and work as Process Designers and Facilitators with clients across the globe, leading workshops in person and online.
