Travel instructions
Rangiora You can walk, drive, bike or bus to our library. Bus 1 to Rangiora is the most direct. Leave at stop 47320 (Town Hall) and walk 360m (5 Minutes) to the library We have a bike stand in front of our library. There is a carpark to the rear of our library. The carpark is 120 mins and is accessible from Percival Street. Our carpark contains an electric vehicle charger. Kaiapoi You can walk, drive, bike or bus to our library. Bus 1 is the most direct. Leave at stop 40174 (Kaiapoi Police Station) and walk 220m (3 Minutes) to the library We have a bike stand on the Williams Street entrance to our library. There is a carpark to the rear of our library. The carpark is 120 mins and is accessible from Raven Quay and Hilton Street Our carpark contains an electric vehicle charger. Oxford You can walk, drive, or bike to our library. We have a bike stand on Main Street. We have street parking on Main Street and Burnett Street; there is a carpark at 43 Main Street (70m walk from library entrance) which contains an electric vehicle charger. We have two accessible carparks for Oxford Library. One is at the rear of the building and can be accessed from Burnett Street; the other accessible carpark is directly at the front of the building on Main Street. To Travel to Oxford, you can either Travel down Inland Scenic Route 72 from Rangiora or Tram Road from Kaiapoi/Christchurch.
Entry instructions
Rangiora We have a slight slope outside our building between our wheelchair carparks and the library. The entrance to the library faces high street and the Rangiora Service Centre. Access involves wheeling over about 15 meters of cobblestones. Once you arrive at our building, we have automated doors for entrance into the library. Our library is on one level. Please note we have two pull doors between the library and the toilets. Kaiapoi We have a slope outside our building between our wheelchair carparks and the library. Access involves wheeling over about 10 meters up this slope to our library door. Our other main door on the Williams street side is flat between the library and the road. There are no accessible carparks close to this entrance. Once you arrive at our building, we have automated doors for entrance into the library. Our library is on two levels with accessible toilets on each level. There is lift that goes between levels. Oxford Entry to Oxford library is from Main Steet, it contains a slight ramp into the building.

Toilet location
Rangiora We have two toilets in our building These are on the far wall just beside the Chamber Gallery. The toilets require you to pull two doors to open. Our toilets have limited space for wheelchairs. If you require the toilet urgently, please reach out to our staff who can support and offer other toilet spaces. Alternatively, we have toilets in Victoria Park that are accessible around 80 meters away and at Customer Services. Kaiapoi We have six toilets in our building; they have a range of doors. Our accessible doors slide while our main public toilets are push/pull. We have One accessible toilet on each floor and a parent room on the ground floor. Our accessible toilet upstairs contains wash facilities if required. Oxford We have one toilet at Oxford Library, this is an accessible toilet with a sliding door. The toilet can be accessed from left of the main area by the children’s zone. If you need a toilet urgently and it is in use please let our team know to support you to use another toilet.
Accessible parking
Rangiora The wheelchair carparks are split with two in front of our Rangiora Service Centre and two on Percival Street. Kaiapoi We have two accessible carparks that can be reached from Raven Quay and Hilton Street Oxford We have two accessible carparks for Oxford Library. One is at the rear of the building and can be accessed from Burnett Street; the other accessible carpark is directly at the front of the building on Main Street.
