The Indigenous Driver Licensing Unit is coming to Mapoon & Napranum to help you get a driver licence or ID without having to travel far.

We can help you:

take the test for a learner licence
take the test for a car or truck licence
get your licence back if you had one before
check if your licence is still valid
get a photo ID card.

Getting your licence or ID can help you get around safely, find work and have more independence.

Important: You'll need to complete the Hazard Perception Test before you can do a practical driving test. You'll also need to provide your own vehicle for a driving test, as we don't supply one.
