Our Life as a Clinician-Scientist symposia are designed to inspire junior doctors, medical and health sciences students, and early career researchers to pursue a career as a clinician-scientist. This online event, aimed at those living and working in rural and regional settings, is the first of its kind. We hope you will join us to learn more about the unique challenges and opportunities presented in regional, rural and remote settings, and the impact that being a clinician-scientist can have on advancing your research and benefitting your community.
What is a clinician-scientist?
Clinician-scientists combine clinical practice with health research, allowing them to take their insights from working with patients to answer fundamental scientific questions and ultimately improve patient care.
Our online Rural and Regional Health symposium offers a unique platform to hear from leading experts in the field, learn about the many pathways to this exciting career, no matter where in Australia you are based.
