Class 1 - Life Drawing Fundamentals With Michael Herron 7 June - 10 am
Event description
Explore form, proportion and composition by sketching the unclothed figure in a variety of short and long poses. We will begin with some quick guided exercises to loosen up and then move through a series of short 1-5 minute poses, followed by a 15-minute pose, and finishing with one longer pose at around 30 mins. There will be time for 2 quick breaks, and we will have a short critique at the end where you may share your work if you feel comfortable doing so. This class is suitable for all levels from beginner to experienced. It is designed to inspire, instruct and surprise within a safe, supportive environment. The class offers a balance between observation and creative expression, providing a space for you to develop your skills and personal artistic exploration.
