Life Sciences Summit - win a chance to tell your story!

Are you in biotechnology and have a business story to share? Do you have a vision to communicate and want the opportunity to showcase your business at the largest life science gathering in New Zealand? Callaghan Innovation is giving the opportunity for five innovative businesses to share their story on stage at the Life Sciences Summit 2025.

The five businesses selected will:

• Deliver a 3-minute presentation about their business and journey to a room full of industry leaders, innovators, and decision-makers. 
• Receive free entry to the 2025 Life Science Summit (valued at $1700). 
• Enjoy two days of networking, unlocking new opportunities and partnerships. 

Businesses of any size in Aotearoa New Zealand are invited to apply. Whether you are advancing in health technology, medicine, agriculture, food technology, natural health, environmental innovation or other life sciences, we want to hear your story!

Terms & Conditions  

1. Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the “Present your story at the Life Science Summit 2025” competition ("Competition") is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.  

Promoter  

 2. The Promoter is Callaghan Innovation Limited, NZBN 545472, of 69 Gracefield Road, Lower Hutt, New Zealand, 5010  (“Promoter”).  

Competition Period  

3. The competition commences at 9.00am (NZST) on 20 January 2025 and closes at 5.00pm (NZST) on 10 February 2025 (“Competition Period”).  

Eligibility to Enter

4.  Entry is open to New Zealand businesses 

5. Provide all details as requested, including full name, email address, phone number, company, job title, description of your business, business journey, worked with CI in the past, and why do you want to win 

6. There is a maximum of five businesses that will be selected for winning the Competition 

Prize Draw  

7. Entry is via Humanitix registration – all businesses entering will need to describe their business, what drives their business to succeed, describe any impact Callaghan Innovation might have already had on their business (if applicable to them) and why they would like to be part of the speaking sessions at the Life Science summit 2025. 

8. All Eligible Entries received during the Competition Period will be considered and put through the criteria set out by Callaghan Innovation.  

9. The criteria set out by Callaghan Innovation is based on the three specific business questions set out in the application. 

10. The winners will be notified by phone and email within 2 business days of the draw.  

Prize

11.  The prize consists of 5 chances for NZ businesses to deliver a 3-minute presentation about their business and journey to a room full of industry leaders, innovators, and decision-makers. They will also receive free entry to the 2025 Life Science Summit (valued at NZD $1795.00). 

12. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.  

13. In the event that the winner does not accept the prize within 1 week of being notified, it will be forfeited. 

14. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for entries not received by the Promoter.  

15. The 5 winners will be responsible for organising and paying for their travel, accommodation and expenses related to this prize during the conference.
