LIFE Food Hub and Churchill Fellowship Community Briefing
Description
Come and hear how LIFE Food Hub is addressing food insecurity through a dignity-centred, choice-based, nutritionally focused, and empowering approach.
You’re invited to a special community briefing exploring the future of food security in Northern Tasmania and the vision behind the LIFE Food Hub.
This free event will also share insights from Rodney Spinks’ Churchill Fellowship project:
“To identify international best practice in addressing food security through social supermarkets.”
Hear what has been learned internationally, how social supermarket models are working elsewhere, and how those ideas are helping shape the LIFE Food Hub here in Launceston.
This is a chance to hear the vision, understand where the project is heading, meet the team behind it and be part of the conversation about creating a more dignified, sustainable and community-led response to food insecurity.
This event will also share how community members, local organisations, potential partners and supporters can become involved in this important initiative to address the persistent issue of food insecurity.
