Event description

Next Wednesday, we’re coming at you with another Lifeskills – How to Sew! 🪡

📍Te Rua Makerspace, UC Central Library

🗓️ Wednesday 13 August

🕓 4–6pm

Sewing is one of those skills that just comes in clutch, but most of us were never taught how. This session is all about the basics, from threading a needle to fixing hems, sewing on buttons, and patching up holes. It’s cool to learn a new skill. No experience is needed. Just bring your items that need a little TLC, and we'll have some expert sewers on hand to show you the ropes.

Giving your clothes a second chance helps the planet, and while you’re at it, you’ll save money and get a better fit too.

FREE tickets but there are limited spots, so get in quick!

Come through, ask questions, and learn something your future self will thank you for. Don’t part ways with your clothes 🤝 let’s patch things up!
