Join families from across Brooklyn for Light It Up Brooklyn! Family Hanukkah Arts Festival & Shuk - a festive "crafternoon" filled with hands-on art and crafts to take home, joyful music, and holiday shopping at our pop-up Shuk (market) featuring local Jewish and Israeli vendors!

🎨 Create with hands-on Hanukkah art activities led by Senesh and our wonderful community partners, , with opportunities for kids and grownups to get creative together.
🛍️ Shop the Senesh Parent Association’s Pop-Up Hanukkah Shuk for gifts from local vendors and makers.
🎊 Celebrate an afternoon of Jewish joy, creativity, and community!
All families are welcome—you don’t need to be a Senesh family to join the fun! Invite your friends and neighbors from across Brooklyn and beyond.

- Should we register in advance?
Yes, please! Early registration helps us prepare enough craft materials and treats for everyone. Our community celebrations often reach capacity.
- Can we bring a stroller?
Strollers must be parked outside in our gated area, which is exposed to the elements. We cannot accommodate strollers inside during this event.
- What’s the closest subway?
We’re right above the Carroll Street F/G station! The school is at 342 Smith Street, at the corner of 1st Place.
- What if cost is a concern?
We’d love to help your family participate. Please reach out to kulam@hannahsenesh.org.
- Interested in being a Shuk vendor?
We’re accepting applications on a rolling basis as space allows. Apply here!
