Discover WA in a whole new light

On Friday 23 October 2026, iconic landmarks across Western Australia will shine red in support of children living with disability, chronic illness or disadvantage.

Start your evening at the 2026 Light Up WA Sundowner at The Kingsman, an exclusive open-air pop-up venue on Riverside Drive in the heart of Perth. Join us from 5:30pm to 7:30pm for an evening of connection, entertainment and inspiration as we celebrate the difference we can make together for WA kids.

What to expect at the sundowner

Enjoy canapés and beverages, a special performance from the Variety Choir and more entertainment, while hearing firsthand how Variety WA supports children and families across the state.

Then, let the adventure begin!

After the sundowner, choose your challenge and explore the city on foot or jump aboard the hop-on, hop-off bus, visiting as many participating landmarks as you can.

The Light Up WA app will guide your adventure, with something new to discover at each stop. Scan the QR codes at participating landmarks to explore interactive displays, learn about Variety WA’s programs and read real stories from the WA children and families your support has helped.

With iconic landmarks lighting the way and planned stops to enjoy Perth’s hospitality, it’s set to be a memorable evening of discovery, connection and purpose. Further venue details will be shared with registered guests.

A little friendly competition

There will also be prizes up for grabs for challenge winners! Full challenge details, clues, checkpoints and instructions will be revealed in the app.

All registered guests will receive their app information on Wednesday 21 October 2026.
