Laneway Lightbox Open-air Gallery Launch

But don't worry, if you have missed out on getting a ticket, please still pop down, entry is free and there will be food and drinks available to purchase at Temperance and General.

We have a super exciting launch event for a lightbox outdoor gallery. This inaugural exhibition features local First Nations women artists.

It’s a free event for the community, visitors, artists and their friends/families to enjoy art installations, live music, artist talks.

Join us for this outdoor art exhibition featuring local First Nations women artists Glennys Briggs, Teisha Maksymow-McGuiness, Patricia Cerminara and Brittany Wright (AWAHS Koori Women's Group)

Every ticket holder will also get 1xFree donut per person* from the Happy Cat donut Food truck on the night. Please show your ticket to Happy Cats food van located in the middle of AMP lane to receive your free donut.

*Please note donut vouchers only available until allocation is exhausted. Thank you for understanding.

Date: Thursday 6th July

Time: 5:00pm- 7:00pm

Location: AMP lane, Albury 

Price: FREE Bookings

Age: Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Pram friendly.

Please note:  It is a mostly outdoor event, please bring an umbrella if there are light showers. Wheelchair and pram accessible space. 

Parking: Free Parking at Wilsons Street carpark 3-minute walk from the laneway event. 

The speaking will start at 5:10pm located near the Smollett St end of Amp Lane, so please head over there when you arrive.

There will be Welcome to country and Smoking ceremonies performed by Darren Wighton, followed by an artist talk & tour as well as a music performance from The Quinn Brothers. 

On the night you can also grab a bite to eat from Temperance and General and enjoy the view of the artwork installation.

We apologise for any inconvenience, but we must kindly state to all participants that no pets are allowed during the event for WHS reasons. Registered service dogs are the exception. 

Please note HappyCat donuts will not be selling donuts on the night, it will only be giving out a donut to a ticket holder.
