Lighting The Spark: Information Session
Event description
Join this free information session to find out more about the Lighting The Spark program and how you can implement it in your school.
The Lighting the Spark initiative is a culturally proud, community-led program that enables local leaders to share entrepreneurial education with Indigenous youth in their communities, with the guidance of local mentors and businesses. Its goal is to support a strong, self-determined ecosystem of Indigenous entrepreneurs across Australia.
This initiative builds on and extends entrepreneurship as a concept and practice that has existed in Indigenous communities for thousands of years. This program is a total of 12 hours (Stage 1) and 15 hours (Stage 2), and is delivered by trained First Nations leaders and educators with the support of Young Change Agents.
