Lightroom Masterclass with Nick Melidonis

Lightroom Classic is one of the most innovative and intuitive programs to allow serious photographers to creatively store; catalogue and digitally interpret images. The latest Lightroom Classic incorporates AI to produce the most powerful editing suite to date. It is now the software of choice of most professionals and enthusiasts while providing non-destructive editing.

In this hands-on, small number master class; you will learn the most useful tips, tricks and powerful editing tools in the Develop Module with Perth’s leading Lightroom Master Photographer- presenter. Follow each step using your own laptop with the provided images together with the ability to clarify the process with your questions (unlike using on-line programs). Bring three images of your own and a selection of images from the group will be also be used to illustrate interpreting and editing images.

You will need something to write on and your own laptop (plus mouse and charger), with a working copy of Lightroom Classic already installed ** (or trial copy) and a basic knowledge of computing. All images used in the workshop will be provided.

Among the topics covered include importing the working images into a collection and effectively using the most important creative panels in the Develop Module including the very powerful new AI masking techniques to produce stunning images.

Nick Melidonis is an AIPP Master Photographer with 5 gold bars and one of Australia’s foremost landscape/travel photographers and educators. He is a three-time winner of the AIPP Australian Landscape Photographer of the Year. In 2016, he won the silver medal from 27 countries in the World Photographic Cup held in Portugal in ‘Nature’ (Landscape and wildlife) category and was a finalist in the 2016 National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year. Nick has been running seminars in Lightroom and Photoshop for over 15 years.
