About the speaker
Alym Amlani is an educator and author specializing in accounting and information systems. He is an instructor in the Melville School of Business and was recently awarded the KPU Distinguished Teaching Award. A two-time "Best of the Teaching Professor Conference" honoree (2020, 2024) for his innovative approaches to exam design and educational technology, Alym brings practical solutions to today's teaching challenges. Drawing on his unique background as a professional magician, he makes complex concepts engaging and accessible across disciplines. His research on the Science of Magic informs his creative approach to problem-solving in education, particularly around emerging technologies and academic integrity.
