Event description

Come and explore your creativity and join us by grounding into some clay work whilst spending time connecting with like minded folk!

This is an engaging introductory workshop for you to experience working with high quality clay. Beginners welcome!

During this workshop you will learn the essentials of pinching a base, using coils for the walls, shaping and joining clay to form your unique vase design!

This workshop will teach you how to make a vase masterpiece from scratch!

What will your piece look like? It will be a 'perfectly imperfect' piece handmade by you!

We will also be teaching you about clay safety - we do not eat or drink during a workshop for this reason.

What to bring: Please bring along a hand towel and most importantly your creative vibes!!!

Age: Adults, teens & children over 8 years old.

(If you have a child under 8 who would like to do clay work please send me a message and we can have a chat)

Class duration: 2 hours

Attendees required: minimum of 6 and maximum of 16

Time frame from collection: 4-6 weeks

Once you piece is hand built, the piece will need to dry for a week, have a bisque firing, it will be glazed in white glaze, then fired again. Your piece will be ready for collection in approx 4 weeks time (postage is an additional charge).
