About the show
We warmly welcome back Lilla Shy to the Pianodrome!
Following the release of her second album, The Blood We Share, on 19 March 2027, Lilla Shy will embark on a special UK tour this April, bringing its deeply personal songs to audiences across the country, from London to Edinburgh and beyond.
Stripping things back for a more raw and direct live experience, Lilla will put her extraordinary voice and songwriting centre stage, with just her guitar and the piano between her and the listener. The intimate April shows will offer fans the chance to experience the emotional heart of the new album up close.
Produced by Mercury Prize-nominated artist and acclaimed songwriter Ed Harcourt (Paloma Faith, Marianne Faithfull, Sophie Ellis-Bextor), The Blood We Share marks a bold new chapter for Lilla. More expansive in sound than her DIY debut, the album retains the intimacy and emotional honesty at the heart of her songwriting, exploring sisterhood, womanhood, independence, sexuality, strength, trauma, connection and the freedom to live life on your own terms.
From bedroom-born beginnings to performances at the London Palladium and Glastonbury Festival, Lilla has continued to build momentum. Singles from the new album have already received support from BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing, Radio X and Spotify editorial playlists, signalling an exciting new chapter in her career.

Support for the show by lifegarden https://lifegarden.band
lifegarden’s music is powerfully honest and cuts deep while being energetic, effervescent and
sonically rich. After a strong foray into themes addressing climate, love and war,
the band is now working on their next album, pre-titled “catharsis class”, addressing
mental health and release, seeking to reach the core of their audience and relate in
this human experience.
This will be a special stripped back, solo-acoustic performance by Pip to match
the intimacy of this lovely show.
