I'm Luke, a passionate marketer and entrepreneur from the Sunshine Coast. My journey began with a first-class honours degree in marketing from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2007. I then honed my skills at Procter & Gamble, working with iconic brands, including Olay and Clearblue and forging strategic partnerships with Australia's top retailers, including Coles, Kmart and Target.

In 2015, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to travel the world, seeking inspiration. By 2016, I was back on the Sunshine Coast, sharing my knowledge as a lecturer and tutor in marketing.

2019 marked the birth of Marketing Broker Australia, my brainchild to guide businesses through the maze of marketing choices. With a network of over 40 seasoned marketing professionals, we've empowered hundreds of businesses, built 60+ campaign-ready websites, and secured government grant funding for many.

Recognising a gap in the market for micro-businesses, I launched B2B Sunshine Coast in 2021 and took the reins of Buy Local Sunshine Coast in 2022. My vision? A community-driven approach to marketing, where micro-businesses unite for region-wide campaigns. For Buy Local Sunshine Coast, we partnered with the Sunshine Coast Council and 91.1 Hot FM to support hundreds of businesses with organic and paid Facebook marketing, reaching over 100K and email campaigns reaching almost 3,000. For B2B Sunshine Coast, we have amplified our members' visibility and authority in their professional field via LinkedIn and the LinkedIn Local events. We are bringing more AI-powered resources to both groups.

2023 brought a new venture: acquiring Matters Magazine, a staple on the Sunshine Coast for 17 years. Matters Magazine shares premium content written by local businesses in over 5,000 locations across the Sunshine Coast—a vibrant, supportive community of business owners.

The synergy between my ventures is palpable, all driven by quality content and a mission to foster genuine connections, knowledge-sharing, and mutual growth.
