Linkup in Cyber: Fast Chats, Real Connections: Online event

Join the WiCyS La Trobe Student Chapter for LinkUp: Fast Chats, Real Connections - a dynamic and inclusive cybersecurity networking event exclusively for La Trobe students studying or interested in pursuing a cyber career.

This flagship event kicks off Cyber Security Awareness Month and is proudly supported by La Trobe University and the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (SCEMS).

Led by the Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) student chapter, the event champions women in cyber while being inclusive and welcoming to all students who want to explore pathways into the field.

The event will open with an address  from the National Office of Cyber Security, highlighting the importance of building Australia’s future cyber workforce.

You’ll then hear from an esteemed careers panel of cybersecurity professors, professionals, and sector representatives, followed by speed networking rotations (“fast chats”) a unique opportunity to connect in small groups with multiple cyber professionals, gain tailored advice, and start building your network.
