Event description

Join me, Rebecca Prince, for a fun and festive creative session in the wonderful new workshop space at Miss Emily's Emporium in Stirling. I will guide you through the design and linocut process using Easy Carve rubber blocks and beautiful native Aussie botanicals for inspiration. In this session you will have the opportunity to carve two designs and print them onto lovely handmade papers to attach to gift tags and cards. This class is beginner friendly so all welcome!

Arty Types is a small business run by me, Rebecca Prince, I am a local artist in the Adelaide Hills region and have been teaching kids and adults for 9 years. I have a Bachelor degree in Visual Arts and Design and my main arts practice involves watercolours and drawing. I have strong passion for and focus on Australian wildlife and bush habitat and this often comes through in my art class themes. My teaching approach involves nurturing and building creative confidence as well as general technical skill. I believe the key to unlocking ones creative abilities is to first trust and believe in yourself and ignore negative self talk, this is also an important rule for life in general. I run term classes, one off workshops, council workshops and School holiday kid's programs and I try to cover a wide array of materials and approaches in all of my workshops
