Lionhearts is the ultimate Valentine's day party for lovers of dub, reggae, drum 'n' bass and jungle music... all branches sprouted from Jamaican roots! Our international guest Solo Banton is an unforgettable dancehall MC, featured on tracks ranging from dub and roots though to jungle. He'll be joined by DJ Sepia on the decks and a stellar line-up of DJs and live performers with a strong feeling for Caribbean flavoured riddims and style. Food will be available and the Unit 3 Collective's licensed bar will be open all night. Complete with dancefloor, full production lighting and extra entertainment offerings (pool table, dartboard and pinball machines) the focus will fall squarely on the music. Together we'll journey from chilled, dubbed out beginnings, through the rootical sounds of the Iron Lion Zion band, to the the deeper, darker sounds of drum 'n' bass and jungle with Krita and MC Essbee after the headline performance. Don't miss this celebration of the origins of bass music as we know it today. Bring your lover, or find one at the party... either way, make it a date to remember.
