Mt Gambier - Bio Gro - Waste Transfer - Landfill - Re-Use Market Tours

Hop on a free bus from Millicent to Mount Gambier and discover how organic waste is being transformed into something incredible!

We'll be visiting Bio Gro Wandillo site, a leading facility that operates across South Australia and Victoria to divert organic waste from landfills and turn it into high-quality products for horticulture, viticulture, agriculture, and landscaping.

Bio Gro processes over 300,000 tonnes of organic material each year, helping to build a more sustainable future. You'll get a behind-the-scenes look at their impressive operations, including two fully automated packaging plants capable of producing over 8 million bags annually.

After Bio Gro we will venture to a local restaurant for an early lunch, our shout (1 x main meal each)

After Lunch we will be joined by a Mt Gambier City Council representative who will take us to their Waste Transfer Station, Caroline Landfill, and the Re-Use Market before heading back to Millicent around 3pm.
