Liquid Bloom Equinox Dance Celebration w/ Martin Bridge & Moti Zemelman
Event description
The Montague Retreat Center welcomes Liquid Bloom for the first time on his Portal of a New Dawn tour, to invite the tribe into a ceremonial dance journey, weaving global rhythms, ancestral lineages and nature-inspired electronica.
Join us for a multidimensional evening where movement, music, and visual art converge. Featuring the evocative sonic landscapes of Liquid Bloom, immersive visual artistry by Martin Bridge, and an optional Contact Improvisation class with Moti Zemelman, this gathering is a powerful activation of awakened presence and collective connection.
Come dance into the balance of the equinox!
Liquid Bloom
Founded by Amani Friend of Desert Dwellers, Liquid Bloom blends world music with electronic elements to create immersive, transformative sonic journeys. Starting in the late ‘90s with the creation of organic trance music for healing, Liquid Bloom has evolved into a project that bridges traditional sounds with modern production, appealing to a diverse, multi-generational audience.
Collaborating with artists such as Poranguí, Mose, Deya Dova, Ixchel Prisma, and Savej, Liquid Bloom’s music merges dance elements with ambient, healing soundscapes. The project has performed at major international festivals like Ozora, Boom, and Rainbow Serpent, while also playing a key role in breathwork, cacao, and ecstatic dance gatherings. The music of Liquid Bloom has been featured on spoken word pieces featuring Paul Stamets, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and Ram Dass.
Liquid Bloom creates spaces for deep inner exploration, combining sacred sonic elements with modern electronic beats. The project continues to push the boundaries of sonic exploration, offering listeners an enchanting auditory experience that fosters healing, connection, and transformation.
Martin Bridge is an artist, ecophile and entheogenic advocate who lives, grows, teaches and creates in the hills of Western Mass. Touching the Moment: Contact Improv Here & Now
Contact Improvisation is an honoring of every moment. There is a sweet surrendering that happens when our bodies stay faithful to what is happening now, and now... and NOW! In this workshop we learn to recognize and differentiate the subtle impulses in our choices and our partner's choices. We begin to decipher the cues that we give and receive which tell us when to lead or follow, when to go up, when to go down, where to touch, how to lift, when to slow down, and when to be still. Learn to stay in integrity with each choice, never forcing, never rushing. When Body, Mind, and Spirit are united in their instinctive wisdom we find our-selves at home in every moment expressing our true nature.
