Nuraini is an emerging singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the Sunshine Coast, who effortlessly weaves stories into soulful melodies and groovy rhythms. Influenced by genres spanning neo-soul, rnb, funk, hip hop and reggae, her music is a captivating and honest reflection of her diversity as an artist. Some of her favourite artists and inspirations include Mereba, Cleo Sol, Pip Millett, Matt Corby, Lauryn Hill to name a few.

Lately she has been hitting the stage with her band, bringing a fuller and more playful energy to her shows. With three single already under name, she is excited to share some fresh new music from her upcoming debut five track EP 'Movers of the light'.

Poetry slam rules

* 3 minutes/ timer starts on the first word

* 1 point deducted for every minute over

* 5 Judges chosen randomly in the crowd

* high score and low score removed for final score

The winner and runner up will go into the end of year final for cash prizes to help them on their your way to following their performance dreams.
