During the remarkable year that was 2020, and while studying community development, Lisa Pozzato and her classmates were asked to come up with a project that would help the community. Inspired by the knowledge that many disabled people struggle to find work, and knowing cafes were dumping their waste coffee grind, the team developed Grind to Ground. It is a social enterprise business helping both the environment and people. We find out how to build a social enterprise. How is it structured? And what makes it sustainable into the future?
SPEAKER BIO
Lisa's passion is helping others in need. She has experienced a variety of jobs from being a travel consultant, gaming attendant, customer service representative and venue manager. Lisa is a graduate from Sydney Community College and has a Certificate IV in Community Development from Canberra Institute of Technology.
