NSW Farmers invites members and non‑members to attend an Information Sessions on Native Vegetation Maps,

About the Session

Uncertainty around land management regulations has prompted NSW Farmers to invite Local Land Services and The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water - Mapping Team to assist landholders to understand the rules and use of the Native Vegetation Regulatory (NVR) Map.

• DCCEEW will outline how the map works, what the different map categories mean, and have staff available for one-on-one discussions to help you understand the mapping on your property.

• LLS will share insights into the most frequent issues they are seeing locally, explain how these fit within the relevant land management codes, and provide guidance on how best to approach these matters.

Category explanation reports / one-on-one appointments

If you would like a one-on-one appointment with the NVR map review and support team (during the second half of the Information Session) please indicate so in your registration. Please also consider requesting a Category Explanation Report at registration. You will be sent a link to a request form — please ensure this is completed by Friday 15 May. The report will be provided to you for your one-on-one discussion. Appointments are also freely available on the day.

Please note: The sessions are to provide guidance and support for those attending. Our guest speakers are not the policy or rule makers and are attending with NSW Farmers to assist landholders to understand the NVR Map and associated land management rules only.
