Literacy and Numeracy Parent Workshop

Merici parents and carers are invited to attend a Literacy and Numeracy Parent Workshop lead by our Literacy Coordinator, Nicole Commins, and Numeracy Facilitator, Emma Bishop. It will occur on Wednesday 9th April 2025 from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the CRLC (upstairs at front office).

The workshop will seek to empower parents with research-based strategies to support their daughters with their literacy and numeracy skills. First, we will explore what Merici is doing to support our students within the literacy and numeracy space, then we will delve into a variety of techniques that parents can use at home to support their daughters with their reading, writing, spelling and numeracy skills.

Light refreshments will be available, and we encourage parents to bring some writing materials to the workshop.
