Description: There are a lot of ways to share creative work with readers, from making hand-bound zines to starting an online literary journal to launching your own publishing house. In this workshop, you'll learn about the different forms of creative publishing, along with the steps, timeline, and budget required for each. We'll also talk about how to curate and edit work for publication, the best tools to use for things like layout and cover design, and ways to connect with writers and readers. Along the way, you'll get some tips, dos, and don'ts from the editor of a literary journal that publishes both online and in-print.

By the end of this workshop, participants will... have learned about the depths of many forms of publishing, including zines, online literary journals, and publishing houses.
