Description
A MORNING SALON OF BOTANICAL FORAGING, MINIATURE IKEBANA AND THE POETRY OF MARY OLIVER, SET ON A VERDANT FARM ESTATE IN THE NORTHERN RIVERS.
An invitation to immerse yourself in the Japanese art of miniature Sogetsu ikebana, set against the native flora of the Butterwood Ranch estate. In collaboration with Sogetsu ikebana artist Vicki Saik and writer Olivia Drake, we invite you into a morning of botanical foraging, poetry, and quiet arrangement. An attentiveness to site and season — sharpening one's sensitivity to the pastoral landscape and what it offers. Each guest selects a poem, steps into the field, and returns with what the land yields — composing a miniature ikebana arrangement as a personal mémoire of their encounter with place.
Tickets cost $120 and includes all materials.
