Litha with the Gaia Temple 2026
Description
"…as Light reaches Her peak, our closest contact with the Sun, She opens completely, and the seed of darkness [to come] is born.’ – Glenys Livingston
At this summer solstice we will sing of the intimacy of our connection with the Goddess at this exuberant time of the year. We will wash away that which has not served us well and we will celebrate the ability to welcome new thinking and new actions at this time. We will take a moment to reflect and meditate on possibilities for ourselves.
Litha is Kangaroo Apple Season in south-eastern Australia, when goannas are active, Bundjil the wedge-tailed eagle is breading and the Cherry Ballart and Kangaroo Apple are fruiting. The weather is changeable and thundery.
Come to share a Litha ritual followed by a pot-luck meal.
