Little Big Thinkers: Spring Holiday Camp
Event description
Newington College is a lighthouse for innovation in critical thinking and philosophical inquiry. Students from all across NSW have come to the Centre for Critical Thinking and Ethics to participate in our inter-school events for secondary students, events such as Meeting of Minds and Socratic Summit: https://www.newington.nsw.edu.au/whats-happening/critical-thinking-ethics-and-ethics/inter-school-events/
We are excited to invite even younger thinkers to think big with us! Little Big Thinkers is a day of fun and thought-provoking games and philosophical activities, together with hands-on art-making for students in Years 4, 5, and 6.
What if the world was upside down?
Can something be big and little at the same time?
Does everything have an opposite?
Join us for one or two days: on 9 October, we'll explore Opposites and on 10 October our inquiries will focus on Perception & Reality. Put on your thinking caps and get ready to wonder, draw, dramatise and sculpt with our expert Philosophy teachers in collaboration with a professional artist in the dedicated Critical Thinking Quarters at the Stanmore Campus!
