  Little Groovers Silent Disco is a fun, inclusive, and sensory-friendly dance event designed especially for children and families. Participants wear wireless headphones and can choose from different music channels while enjoying a safe and engaging environment.

• Who is the event for?

  Little Groovers is open to all children and families, with a special focus on creating a welcoming and accessible experience for neurodivergent children and those with sensory sensitivities.

• What age group is the event suitable for?

  The event is designed for children aged 9–12 years. Younger siblings are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

• What makes this event sensory-friendly?

  We have carefully designed the event to reduce sensory overload by offering:

  • Individual volume control through wireless headphones

  • Multiple music channels to choose from

  • A quieter environment without loud external speakers

  • Designated calm-down and sensory retreat space

  • Flexible participation, allowing children to engage at their own pace

• Do children have to wear the headphones?

  While the headphones are a key part of the experience, children are welcome to take breaks or participate in ways that make them feel comfortable.

• Will there be a quiet space available?

  Yes. A designated sensory-friendly quiet zone will be available for children and families who need a break from the activity.

• Are parents and carers required to stay?

  Yes. Parents, carers, or guardians are responsible for supervising their children throughout the event.

• What music will be played?

  A variety of family-friendly music will be available across multiple channels, including:

  • Popular children's songs

  • Current family-friendly hits

  • Dance and party favourites

• Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

  Yes, the venue is fully accessible.

• Are food and drinks available?

  Drinks will be provided. Food availability will be provided closer to the event.

• How long does the event run?

  The event is expected to run for 45 minutes, allowing plenty of time for dancing, socialising, and breaks as needed.

• What should children wear?

  Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for dancing and movement are recommended. Feel free to dress in your grooviest disco outfit!

• How much do tickets cost?

  Ticket prices will be listed on the event booking page. Any proceeds raised will help support children's health initiatives through Uncle Bobs Club.

• Can siblings attend?

  Absolutely! Little Groovers is designed to be a family-friendly event where siblings can join in the fun together.

• What if my child becomes overwhelmed?

  Our event is designed with flexibility in mind. Families can access the quiet space, take breaks as needed, and rejoin the activities whenever their child feels comfortable.

• Where do the funds raised go?

  Funds raised from Little Groovers Silent Disco support children's health initiatives through Uncle Bobs Club (UBC), helping improve the lives of children and families in our community.

• How can I support the event?

  You can support Little Groovers by:

• What is the refund policy?

  Refunds are available up to seven (7) days prior to the event date.

  Please note that all approved refunds are subject to a 25% administration fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.

  Refund requests received within seven (7) days of the event will not be eligible for a refund, and 100% of the ticket purchase price will be forfeited.

  All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the event organiser.

  In the unlikely event that Little Groovers Silent Disco is cancelled by the organiser, ticket holders will be offered a full refund.
