Event description

We invite you to join us at Little Street Studio on Saturday 12th July 2025 for Synthesizer Speed Dating! The hottest event in any Synthesizer lover’s calendar. 

During this workshop, we will teach you the fundamentals of synthesis as well as how to connect, record and edit hardware synth experiments to use in future productions. Following the 30 minute lesson you will have 2 hours to move between various synth stations, getting hands on time with the extensive synth and hardware collection at LSS. We have carefully curated each of the stations with a unique combination of Synthesizers, Drum Machines and Hardware Effects that we feel are particularly magical and will no doubt leave a lasting impression.

WORKSHOP FORMAT:

  • 30 Minute Introduction to Synthesis Workshop

  • 2 Hour Synthesizer Speed Dating Session. Hands on synth explorations across various synth stations with tutor assistance.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Headphones

  • Recording Device / Laptop + Interface (OPTIONAL - If you wish to record your synth jams) A few of the stations will have a plug and play interface setup where you can connect a laptop but feel free to bring your own interface if you wish to record every station!
