Event description

Wild Folk Gumnuts (0–6 Years Group) 🌱

We draw inspiration from the Australian gumnut—a symbol of potential, growth, and connection to nature. Like the small and mighty gumnut that grows into a strong and resilient tree, our youngest wild folk (0–6 years) are nurtured to explore, create, and thrive in a natural, child-led environment. With parents and carers by their side, these sessions offer a gentle and supportive space for connection, learning, and play.

🌿 Activities to Spark Growth and Wonder:

  • 🍁 Loose parts play
  • 🍁 Nature craft
  • 🍁 Messy, sensory-rich play
  • 🍁 Storytelling and seasonal singalongs
  • 🍁 Yarning circles to connect and share
  • 🍁 Child-led, adult-facilitated exploration

🌟 The Benefits of Gumnuts:
This program is perfect for families looking to:

  • 🍁 Encourage fine and gross motor development
  • 🍁 Foster curiosity, creativity, and autonomy
  • 🍁 Enhance language and early numeracy skills
  • 🍁 Cultivate resilience, teamwork, and decision-making
  • 🍁 Build a connection to nature and the seasons
  • 🍁 Join a welcoming, like-minded community
  • 🍁 Inspire future custodianship of our beautiful earth

🌟 Session Details:

  • Time: 9:30–11:00 AM
  • Day: Thursday
  • Location: Near the Gympie Aquatic Centre (details provided upon booking).

💚 Parents/carers are responsible for their child/ren at all times.

Come and join us for a seasonally inspired, community-focused program where your little gumnuts can grow, play, and thrive in nature’s embrace. 🌸
