Little Women of the Village
Description
Louisa May Alcott's classic story is retold by the young women of our village. This is a tale of sisters growing up together, finding their way with and through sisterhood, joy, courage and love.
The life of the March sisters is brought to the stage by an ensemble of talented girls from Beechworth and Stanley who have spent months bringing this show together, growing up with the the characters they play.
Little Women of the Village is a fresh adaptation - faithful to Alcott's spirit, with a voice of it's own. It is warm, funny and suitable for all ages.
There are 3 performances offered 9-10th October at the Beechworth Memorial Hall. Doors open 30 minutes before the show. There will be a bar with refreshments and snacks available and a short intermission between the 2 acts.
Join us to celebrate a beloved story that is close the hearts of many, and support the talents, passion and dedication of our own local, young performers.
