Little Writing Legends Workshop
Event description
During the next school holidays, children will have the opportunity to write, illustrate and print their very own book to go in the library!
With guidance from local author, Mrs Beryl Semple, over three days, children will share ideas, develop story maps, write and illustrate their stories before the CRC has them professionally printed.
Suitable for ages 5 - 10.
Please bring a water bottle and snacks.
Day 1 - Monday 14th
- Welcome
- Introduction to guest author, Mrs Beryl Semple
- Idea Sharing Circle
- Drafting a story map
- Commence writing
- Homework - story ideas
Day 2 - Tuesday 15th
- Continue story writing
- Editing
- Homework - create illustrations for next session
Day 3 - Tuesday 22nd
- Continue editing
- Continue illustrating
