Liv Marlton (trio), Faith Kayrooz and ROMA throw a night of genre bending, folky story-telling to celebrate Liv's upcoming single release "Gutterflower".

Fresh off the back of recording her debut album, Liv Marlton writes from a mixture of introspection and observation, grappling with the realities of personhood from within a complex family dynamic and broader societal instability. Her folky style is fluid, accessing many genres including alt-rock and new jazz, blending Joni Mitchell with Maddison Cunningham. She performs with a trio, Alex Askew providing the melodic basslines, and Lachlan Holdorf holding down the drums.

Faith Kayrooz, a young Karingbal woman from Meanjin (Brisbane), is an award-winning singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer. With a passion for folk and country-inspired songs, she is renowned as "a true storyteller of the human heart and soul."

Faith has performed professionally across Australia since the age of 14, notably with her first single "Mumma's Not Doing Well", as headliner alongside The Veronicas, and at Govt House, Canberra. Faith's 'old soul' perspectives reflect a timeless character of an artist who draws comparison to the feminist strength and talents of Carole King, Eva Cassidy and Joni Mitchell, and the storytelling gift of Springsteen and Dylan.

ROMA enters a new era of indie folk and alternative pop with her latest single, Call Me The Criminal. Produced by Sam Woods (JUNO, RARIA, Middrift), the song explores the heartbreak of watching someone you love fall for someone else, and the helplessness of knowing you can't stop it.
