Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon as the Canberra Symphony Orchestra (CSO) brings the magic of live music to the picturesque Lanyon Homestead. Live at Lanyon offers a unique blend of classical masterpieces, contemporary favourites, and movie hits, all set against the backdrop of the stunning Brindabella Ranges.

This family-friendly event is perfect for music lovers of all ages. The evening kicks off with a performance by the talented ACT Instrumental Music Program Senior Jazz Band, followed by a rich musical program from the CSO, featuring works by Mozart, The Beatles, Bach, and more.

Bring a picnic or indulge in a pre-ordered cheese box from Canberra’s top cheese shop, Le Cheeserie, and immerse yourself in this celebration of music, heritage, and the beauty of the Canberra region —book your tickets now for an evening filled with unforgettable music, culture and picturesque natural beauty.

The ACT Instrumental Music Program Senior Jazz Band will perform from 5.00pm, followed by the CSO from 5.30pm.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Gates to concert area open at 4.15pm. Bar for drinks purchases (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) opens at 4.30pm.

This is an unseated outdoor concert with limited shade. Don’t forget to bring a picnic rug or a low beach chair for seating. 

The concert area is slightly sloped and has uneven ground surfaces.
