Live at the Hub Sept

A series of shows allowing small group or solo performers the chance to showcase their talent in an intimate venue on a regular basis. The shows are presented in a “Folk Club” atmosphere, low lighting, small tables, BYO snack or for sale. It is aimed to pay musicians a minimum base rate and then share of entry fee. Presented at the Drouin Hub hall in Oak Street, with great sound quality, the shows are recorded for broadcast on 3BBR FM. This month features Hazel Ray who is a passionate singer-songwriter whose journey blends resilience, science, and soul. Beginning her musical path at age 12 with the piano and discovering her voice by 16, Hazel found in music a deep form of self-expression. Drawing inspiration from artists like Janis Joplin, Jewel, and Adele, and refining her sound with producer Steve James, Hazel now merges science and spirituality in her Trilogy of Shows, performances described as transformative and deeply moving. Also featured is the dynamic duo of Gill and Bright.
