Live Discussion: Changing the lives of refugees this Ramadan
Event description
Please join Australia for UNHCR – the UN refugee agency for a live discussion with Lilly Carlisle, External Relations - UNHCR Jordan, Peter Gould, CDO & Founder of Zileej Studio and former refugee turned advocate Fadak Alfayadh on the UN Refugee Agency’s support for refugees in the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
With many refugees already facing poverty, hardship and uncertainty, the coronavirus pandemic adds to what is already a desperate situation – observing Ramadan in dire conditions with limited access to healthcare, water, sanitation and self-isolation spaces.
Please join us for this conversation centred around refugees observing Ramadan with COVID-19, and how UNHCR is working to improve their lives.
