Live Learning 9: Entrepreneurship vs. Education?
Event description
Live Learning is Future Anything's continuing professional development series for educators.
Each month, Nicole Dyson chats online with awesome movers, shakers, thinkers and doers on topics designed to help build
entrepreneurial mindsets in Aussie classrooms. For the first time ever, this Live Learning session is also open to senior students.
Our topic for this month is "Entrepreneurship vs. Education?"
In this session, Nic is joined by Murray Hurps (Director of Entrepreneurship, UTS) and Prof. Rowena Barrett (Pro Vice-Chancellor, Entrepreneurship, QUT).
As leaders in the entrepreneurship space within the tertiary education sector, they'll unpack the diverse opportunities that exist at a university level for entrepreneurially-minded students. Is it really a direct choice between entrepreneurship and education, or can our young people excel at both?
It promises to be a fascinating chat!
Register free now (if you can't join live, all registered participants will received the recording after the session).
