Studio 34 presents another amazing evening in its Live Local Music series, featuring solo performers Kano Matsui and A'Jon, plus a set by the band Hing.
Hing is an improvisation based experiment that blends ASMR textures, jazz and pop influences, field recordings, and humor, to play with the boundaries of rhythm and raga.
By uniting R&B, acoustic, hip hop, and neo-soul, A'Jon creates a sensual and ethereal soundscape that transports listeners to a realm of raw passion, closeness, and deep reflection.
Kaho Matsui is a composer, singer-songwriter, and improviser based in Philadelphia, PA who performs folk and rock music written around generative electronics and diaristic recordings.
Doors at 8:00 PM, music starts by 8:30. Tix are PWYC/NOTA with $10–$20 suggested to support the artists and the space!
