More about the Tram Tracks Tour:Â
Alice Miller and Candlebark are schools in the Macedon Ranges north of Melbourne. Both schools put an emphasis on music and adventure, and in December this year four bands made up of kids from the schools are taking the archetypal musician’s journey - they’re hitting the road and going on tour.
These bands are not school ensembles run by teachers. These are independent, original groups that write and release their own music, and are actively performing at such venues as Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal, Daylesford’s Palais, and Melbourne’s iconic Tote hotel.
