Charlie Moon Meader is an Australian singer-songwriter whose distinctive sound blends soul, R&B, funk, jazz and pop into a powerful and emotionally resonant musical experience. Originally from Perth, Western Australia, he has spent more than a decade building a reputation as a captivating live performer, known for his commanding vocals, rich musicality and undeniable stage presence.

A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Charlie combines technical excellence with heartfelt storytelling, drawing influence from soul, funk, pop and jazz traditions while crafting a sound that is uniquely his own. 

In 2026, Charlie gained national recognition as a Top 8 finalist on Australian Idol, earning a Fast Pass into the Top 12 and delivering one of the season's standout auditions. His time on the show introduced his music to audiences across Australia and contributed to the Top 12 finalists' #1 iTunes single, All Night Long. 

Beyond the spotlight of television, Charlie has performed at renowned venues including The Ellington Jazz Club, His Majesty's Theatre, The Bird, Mojo's Bar and Perth Concert Hall. His career has also taken him internationally, with performances throughout the United Kingdom, Singapore and the United States. 

With a growing catalogue of original music, high-profile collaborations and ambitious touring plans ahead, Charlie Moon is rapidly emerging as one of Australia's most exciting contemporary soul-pop artists, leaving audiences moved, inspired and always wanting more.
